Laura Garinger

Laura Garinger, Advisor
Laura advises UWB undergraduate students interested in our Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies degree--either with or without the Elementary Teacher Certification option. She also assists undergraduate students in   other majors who are in the Education and Society minor, Teaching and Learning minor, and the Diversity minor.

Undergraduate Transfer Student Advising


Kristen Labrecque, Transfer Advisor   & Recruiter

Graduate Advising


Kim McKay

Kim McKay, Advisor
Kim advises current students admitted our K8 Post-Baccalaureate and the Secondary and Middle Level Teacher Certification M.Ed. program. Kim tracks progress and maintains records of teacher certification requirements to ensure that these teacher certification students have completed WA state requirements for certification and endorsements.

Michele Graaff, Advisor
Michele advises current and prospective students interested in our Leadership Development for   Education (LEDE) program, and our Expanding Capacity for Special Education Leadership (ECSEL) program.

In addition, she advises prospective students interested in our Master of Education (M.Ed.) programK8 Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification program and the Secondary and  Middle Level Teacher Certification  M.Ed. program.

1) In the subject line include your name and your program / program of interest

EX:  Subject: "Albert Einstein, K8 Post-Baccalaureate Program"

2) Include your UW student number (if any) in the body

3) Include a brief message describing your issue or question. Be specific.

4) Tell us which advisor in our school (if any) you have met with before
