Prevention workshops
Prevention workshops focus on fostering culture change, preventing harm before it occurs, and addressing the root causes of violence. Incoming first year and transfer students receive the “Creating a Violence-Free UWB” training during orientation. We also offer bystander training for student staff and leaders, along with other sessions.
Response trainings
Response trainings emphasize skill-building to ensure appropriate and compassionate support for those who have experienced sexual or relationship violence. All workshops and trainings can be customized to meet the specific needs of students, faculty, staff, and student staff. Our team offers response training on topics such as responding to disclosures, developing response protocols, implementing trauma-informed care practices, and more.
