My traditional teaching emphases are education, leadership, and research, from the broadly applicable to the highly particularistic. I also bring a host of interesting electives to the curriculum to support core content: Personal finance, forms of capital, public perceptions of nursing, various gaming applications to professional practice, and others. My current curricular developmental passion is on using games to aid education, leadership, and professional practice.

My scholarly expertise is in graduate and doctoral education and higher education studies.
