Cynthia Karlsson has been a Senior Health Education Supervisor for the Washington State Department of Health. She holds a Master of Public Health and a Master of Exercise Science and Health Promotion and is a PhD candidate at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Ms. Karlsson enjoys teaching the next generation of Health Promotion Professionals at the University of Washington Bothell (part-time appointment). She has nearly twenty years of experience across multiple disciplines, such as healthcare, nonprofit, academics, and governmental agencies. She is a certified health educator through NCHEC.
