Welcome to Winter 2026!

As we enter the new year together, we wish our community and community partners a warm and healthy winter season! We thank you all for your continued support as we look forward to another great year of community events, educational opportunities, and connections.

This month, we’re also celebrating exciting updates:

• UW Capstone Shoutout We would love to take a second to recognize our UW Bothell and UW Seattle Capstone interns and thank them for all of their hard work. Last year, the Capstone program brought us 10 amazing interns; 5 from Seattle and 5 from Bothell, who each brought their own unique skillsets and knowledge to CoSEE.
  • In return for their amazing multidisciplinary work, we offered them hands-on learning experience, mentorships, applied research opportunities, connections with community partners, and academic credit for their effort.
  • This quarter we welcome five new interns: Joel from Seattle, and Cat, Ian, Ruth and Charlotte from Bothell!
  • We sincerely thank the University of Washington, Bothell and Seattle for their continued support through the Capstone program, and we are so grateful and excited to onboard more students in the coming years!
• Amazon Wish List! We’ve launched an Amazon Wish List for CoSEE featuring tools, supplies, and materials that directly support our restoration work, educational programs, and adaptive children’s library.
