Behavioral health program fills educational gap

University of Washington Bothell’s School of Nursing & Health Studies, in partnership with Providence Alaska Medical Center and the University of Alaska Anchorage, launched a new behavioral health initiative that filled a key educational gap for entry-level health care workers — improving their behavioral health knowledge, skills and confidence.

Plants tell their stories with QR codes

Thanks to a UW Bothell Herbarium project, dozens of plants, bushes and trees on around campus have labels with QR codes that a smartphone can read to open a website with site-specific information.
