Busting science myths
First-year UW Bothell STEM students recorded their own myth-busting videos and presented them on a big Imax screen at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle. The students also engaged the center’s Discovery Corps of high school interns in thinking about the transition to college.

Learning from the pitfalls of previous institutions and guided by the strengths of the University of Washington Bothell in areas of collaboration, cross-disciplinary inquiry, and community engagement, Bryan White, a Senior Lecturer in the Division of Biological Sciences, designed an exciting investigative biology class on “Personalized Medicine-Hunting Mutations and Targeting Disease.”
