Policy Studies (MA)

Our Program

The Master of Arts in Policy Studies (MAPS) program offers an interdisciplinary, evidence-based approach to the study of how policy interventions can serve the public good, advise public decisions, and advance social change.

MAPS students learn to apply social theory, evaluation, data analysis, and policy analysis techniques to social change. Through this program, you will become a policy leader and actor, equipped for professional policy work in local and state government, as well as private, and non-profit sectors, across multiple policy fields.

Our curriculum is designed on a cohort model with classes offered after 5pm two or three times a week to serve non-traditional students, including working professionals. We incorporate community partner projects to provide students with practical professional skills to advance your career while also serving local needs.

If you are interested in collaborative leadership and developing solutions to critical social issues this is the program for you! Explore what we have to offer or learn more about the admissions process or our faculty interests.
