IAS offers three minors; Ecological Restoration, Human Rights and Policy Studies, which are open to all UW students.
Interested students should review the minor requirements and declare their minor as early as possible. To declare or receive advising on the IAS minors please call (425) 352-5350 to make an advising appointment, or email IASadvisors@uwb.edu.
Minors from Other UW Bothell Programs
IAS students can pursue minors in other programs on the UW Bothell campus. If you are an IAS student interested in a minor in another program at UW Bothell contact that specific program for further information.
Minors from Other UW Campuses
Any minor, but especially one taken outside of UW Bothell, is difficult to complete if students wait until their junior or senior year to begin the required coursework. Cross-Campus Registration and Final-year Residence Requirement apply.
Certificate in Nonprofit Management
IAS, in conjunction with the Evans School of Public Affairs and the UW Office of Professional and Continuing Education, offers a non-credit bearing Certificate in Nonprofit Management as a professional development opportunity for students and community members. The certificate develops critical leadership skills and teaches students how to manage people, build effective programs, and maintain healthy and efficient non-profit organizations. The nine month curriculum requires one course each quarter (autumn, winter, spring). All courses are held on the UW Bothell campus. For more information on the Certificate in Nonprofit Management, please see: http://www.pce.uw.edu/certificates/nonprofit-management.html.
