University of Washington Bothell Campus Safety officers will conduct an intensive active shooter training with city of Bothell police and firefighters Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (June 14, 16 and 17) at the UWB-2 building.
The purpose of the exercise is to help first responders partner with Campus Safety officers and to familiarize themselves with the layout of campus buildings. The enhanced awareness, preparedness and training could save lives in the event of a real incident.
The exercise is a shooting-in-progress scenario. To ensure a safe and successful training, everyone who is not scheduled to be involved must stay clear of the building. Quick tips:
- Plan for no access to UWB-2 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- If you have a meeting scheduled with someone in UWB-2, please arrange an alternate location.
