The SR-522/I-405 exit ramp to the south entrance of the UW Bothell/Cascadia CC campus will be closed beginning Wednesday, Sept. 17 until further notice. Drivers are advised to take the Beardslee exit (195th street) as an alternative.

Do you know a UW Bothell alum or pending graduate who would make an excellent candidate for the 2014-15 UW Bothell Alumni Council? Are you a graduate or soon to be graduate, looking to stay involved with the UW Bothell experience? Do you have some time on your hands to give back to the institution that gave you life-long memories? Then stay involved by joining the Alumni Council! We meet on campus the 1st Thursday of every month from 6 – 8pm to discuss upcoming Alumni events and ways to increase our membership. Join Us!

The UW Bothell Alumni Council will hold its annual election on June 4, 2014. To be eligible for Alumni Council positions, candidates must have their UW Bothell degree or certificate by July 1, 2014. Self-nomination is also encouraged.

The following positions are available. All positions are for a 1 year term unless indicated otherwise:

  • Chair-Elect (2 year term, 2nd year the Chair-Elect serves as the Chair)
  • Secretary
  • Membership &Marketing Chair
  • Awards and Recognition Chair
  • Fundraising Events Committee Chair
  • Alumni Relations Chair (new 2014 - 2015)
  • Alumni Liaison (new 2014 - 2015, replaces the Constituency Representative positions)
  • At-Large Member

Nominations will be open from Thursday, May 1, 2014 to Friday, May 30, 2014.  The nomination form is found here.

The term of office is July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015.

The UW Bothell Alumni Council will meet Wednesday, June 4, 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm in the Rose Room on the 2nd Floor of UW1 to consider nominations to the 2014-2015 UW Bothell Alumni Council.
We encourage all nominees to attend the Election Meeting to speak on their behalf.
