How giving to UW Bothell powers community impact
For this year’s Husky Giving Day we’re highlighting student opportunities powered by you. Students work alongside faculty, community partners and industry leaders to solve real-world challenges. Philanthropy helps power those hands-on learning experiences — opening doors to research, internships and collaborative projects that prepare students to lead in their careers and communities.
In this piece, we’re focusing on students placing community impact at the center of their Husky Experience. Students at UW Bothell come from our region and go on to work in our region after graduation. They’re the teachers, nurses, artists, doctors, engineers and designers in our community, powered by you.
Estrella W., Health Studies ’27
“Professionally, I plan to become a pediatric nurse serving underserved communities and providing children and adolescents with proper care no matter their class, race, gender, status, and ethnicity. UW Bothell has influenced me to continue my education and has showed me that everyone deserves equal education and resources which I plan to show through my professional work.”

Bella C., Elementary Education Studies ’26
“Receiving a scholarship made a tremendous difference in my journey… I recently started teaching Chinese dance to younger students, and this experience has confirmed my dream of becoming a culturally responsive, creative educator who uplifts multilingual children through both language and movement.”
Regional impact can be powered by you this Husky Giving Day. Make a gift now to the UW Bothell Fund, or choose one of our school funds to support.
