CMS Access Request

Content for the Web site is produced by Web publishers and editors from many organizations within UW Bothell.  Publishers and editors edit and publish content via a Content Management System (CMS), called Kentico.  To gain access to the CMS, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be an employee of the University of Washington.
  • Must have a UWB Network Identification Account (UWBID). This is the account that allows you to log into a work computer and may also be referred to as your UWB login credentials. It is not the same as a UWNetID or UW email.  If you have not received this information, your supervisor will need to request it on your behalf. See Requesting a UWBID for more information.
  • Must be sponsored by one of the organizations approved to post content.

If you meet the first two requirements, you can request Web site editing access by clicking on the Request CMS Editing Access button below.   When navigating to the form you will be asked for your user name which is your UWBID (in an email format, e.g. UWBID@uwb.edu) and UWBID password.

Request CMS Editing Access

When filling out the form, select the sections of the Web site you would like editing access.  Upon submission, your request will be sent to the owners of those sections to review your request.  They will contact you via email at your UW Bothell email account.

If approved and access is added, you will find information about the required Kentico training here: http://www.uwb.edu/it/services/articles/kenticotraining.

If you have questions about the process, please send an email to UW Bothell Information Technologies at it@uwb.edu.
