Access Request

Kentico directory access

New and current content editors who need access to a directory need the permission of the directory’s primary publisher. Currently the UW Bothell Advancement & External Relations web team assigns roles to accounts after receiving permission from the respective primary publisher and after new content editors have completing the introductory Kentico training.

To gain access to the CMS, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be an employee of the University of Washington.
  • Must be approved by the organization's Primary Publisher to post content.
  • Must have a UWB Access Account (UWBID). May also be referred to as "UWB login credentials."
    • It is not the same as a UWNetID or UW email. See Requesting a UWBID for more information.

If you meet these requirements please have the directory's primary publisher submit a CMS access request.

Approval process

If approved for website access, you will find information about the required Kentico training. The Advancement & External Relations Web Team is in charge of granting access and works closely with each directory's primary publisher to determine the security level of each content editor.

If you have questions about the process, please send an email to UW Bothell Advancement and External Relations Web Team at
