The reception will be held on Wednesday, November 9 at 4:30 PM.

The UW Bothell Veteran's Reception honors the service and sacrifice of our veteran students, alumni, faculty and staff, and their families. Please invite your friends and family - all are welcome at this free event!

The evening will feature a short video, an address from U.S. Navy Veteran and current UW Bothell Chancellor Wolf Yeigh, a keynote from UW Bothell alumnus and U.S. Army CPT Aaron Thacker*, community resources tables, and free food and beverages.

This year's event will take place inside the brand new Activities and Recreation Center on the UW Bothell campus, overlooking the gorgeous campus wetlands. Students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community supporters are all invited to attend to show their gratitude and support!

Welcome to Veterans Services!

Veteran's Archway Dedication Ceremony with the Student Veteran Association and Rosa Lundborg the Program Manager

Welcome to UW Bothell! Veterans Services is committed to assisting our veterans as they transition out of the military into academic life. We serve as your liaisons to the Department of Veterans Affairs so that you may receive your educational entitlements in addition to providing you with guidance and resources to foster success.

Veterans Services provides assistance to students who are entitled to receive educational benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Whether a student is a new applicant for benefits or has used them at previous institutions, Veterans Services is committed to working in partnership to ensure that the process is simple and well-organized.

As soon as you have registered for classes, the Veterans Services Coordinator will assist you in completing the appropriate forms and will certify your enrollment to the VA automatically on a quarterly basis. They will continue to monitor changes, answer your questions and, if necessary, act as a liaison between you and the VA until graduation.

Veterans Services consists of the Manager of Veterans Services, Veterans Assistants, and UW Bothell’s Vet Corps Navigator. We are located in the Student Success Center in UW1 160 and we look forward to meeting you.
