MySSP counselors are licensed mental health therapists who are familiar with UWB resources. There are several ways to connect:

- If calling from outside the U.S. or Canada, dial 001.416.380.6578.
- Online chat: Chat with a MySSP counselor on the MySSP website or on the MySSP app (Apple App Store | Google Play)
We highly recommend that you download the MySSP app (Apple App Store | Google Play) to have the full range of services at your fingertips any time.
The Counseling Center offers Phone or Zoom video-counseling. No in-person counseling is being offered at this time.
Students who want to begin counseling: Call the Counseling Center to schedule a Screening Appointment. The Screening Appointment will determine if all criteria for remote counseling are in place for you. These criteria include, but are not limited to, having a private place to speak with a counselor for 45 minutes, having the appropriate technology (phone, internet, computer, etc.), and having personal goals for counseling that fit with a remote counseling session. Call 425-352-3183 to schedule your 30-minute Screening Appointment.
If you are experiencing crisis / urgent concerns: The Counseling Center offers same day appointments between 1:00 and 3:00 pm Monday - Friday. Phone calls or Zoom video counseling will last between 5 and 30 minutes depending on your needs. Call 425.352.3183 to schedule your same day appointment for urgent or pressing issues.
