Faculty investigate diverse topics, including the discovery of new disease-curing drugs, the global movement and chemical processes of air pollutants, and the life cycles of stars in our solar system. Some faculty focus on advancing best practices in Physics and Chemistry education. Classroom activities and hands-on field research allows students to observe and interpret how the Earth\u2019s atmosphere, ocean and land surfaces interact and impact human and environmental health.
