{"id":21284,"date":"2021-12-08T13:59:00","date_gmt":"2021-12-08T13:59:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/?p=21284"},"modified":"2024-09-27T14:36:17","modified_gmt":"2024-09-27T21:36:17","slug":"laboratories","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/stem\/graduate\/ms-electrical-computer-engineering\/research\/laboratories","title":{"rendered":"Laboratories"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Laboratories support research &amp; education<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The state-of-the-art <a href=\"\/stem\/graduate\/ms-electrical-computer-engineering\/research\/laboratories\/cleanroom\">Microfabrication Cleanroom<\/a>, <a href=\"\/stem\/graduate\/ms-electrical-computer-engineering\/research\/laboratories\/scanning-electron-microscope\">Scanning Electron Microscope<\/a>, and <a href=\"\/stem\/graduate\/ms-electrical-computer-engineering\/research\/laboratories\/electrical-engineering-teaching-labs\">Electrical Engineering Teaching<\/a> laboratories at the University of Washington Bothell support faculty research, grant proposals, program curriculum, and students working with faculty on research projects or a master\u2019s thesis. <strong>Research focuses heavily on collaboration, and supports cross-disciplinary research<\/strong> within the School of STEM, departments across campus, and regional academic and industry entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application and integrated teaching<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Faculty complement their teaching and <strong>enhance the student learning experience by applying what they learn in the classroom and experimenting hands on<\/strong> fabricating various circuits\/sensors, developing actuators, and .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Diversity and community engagement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Being that these <strong>laboratories are located at one of the most diverse campuses in Washington state<\/strong>, UW Bothell is providing state-of-the-art research equipment access to a population of students who may not otherwise get this opportunity.
