Biography<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Gunnerson\u2019s chemistry career has included work in many chemistry fields. Upon completion of a BS in chemistry at PLU, she was a laboratory chemist for 10 years, analyzing for pollutants using GC\/MS techniques. This was followed by teaching high school chemistry for seven years. She followed this work by attending University of Washington, Seattle where she earned her Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry with her work using computer simulations to study the classical mechanical dynamics of molecules. She joined the University of Washington Bothell faculty upon completion of her Ph.D. in autumn 2007. Most recently, she co-authored a general chemistry laboratory textbook.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
