Graduate Career Counselor

Michael serves as the career advisor for the five graduate STEM academic programs, providing support for those students in all career-related matters. He develops professional and career learning opportunities both through advising and events that integrate with graduate STEM students' overall educational experience. Additionally, he partners with Career Services, the School of STEM, and Advancement to educate employers about the UW Bothell computer science and engineering degree programs and assist them in campus recruiting strategies.

Education: 
Loyola University Chicago, M.Ed in Higher Education
Whitworth University, BA in Speech Communication

Prior to joining UW Bothell, Michael worked at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Teachers College, Columbia University in roles where he provided career advising to engineering and graduate students, and managed on-campus recruiting programs for employers.
