About Us

Students involved in Student Media as part of Clamor Literary & Arts Journal, the Husky Herald news publication or UWave Radio have the opportunity to get hands on experience in book publishing, interviewing, reporting, broadcasting, video, photography, audio editing and article writing. Students will also gain valuable experience in working with off-campus vendors, collaborating with other student groups, marketing, and hosting events throughout the year on campus. Student work that is created as part of Student Media is professionally produced and circulated throughout the UW Bothell community. These three groups often collaborate and work together, they each meet on different days throughout the week in Husky Hall, HH 1210, please stop by and join us!


Clamor provides the opportunity to learn about publishing through the University of Washington Bothell’s Literary and Arts Journal. Clamor meets weekly on Tuesdays from 3:30pm - 5:30pm in HH 1210.

The Husky Herald provides the opportunity to learn about print publishing through the University of Washington Bothell’s student-run newspaper. The Husky Herald meets weekly and is open to volunteer participants from 4:30pm - 5:30pm in HH 1210

UWave Radio

UWave Radio is the campus-based community station of the Bothell area and beyond. We are a center for community engagement, a hub for underrepresented voices and music, an environment for professional development, and a catalyst for social justice. We answer and tend to the interests of the student body and the community. UWave Radio meets weekly on Fridays from 1:15pm - 3:15pm in HH 1210
