{"id":1989,"date":"2016-12-29T16:31:26","date_gmt":"2016-12-29T16:31:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/?p=1989"},"modified":"2023-07-24T20:38:48","modified_gmt":"2023-07-24T20:38:48","slug":"safecampustaskforce","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/safety\/safecampustaskforce","title":{"rendered":"Safe Campus Task Force"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\n\tThe Safe Campus Task Force was established in October 2014 to identify existing practices and procedures, and to engage in a broader conversation regarding safety in order to address the following questions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n\t\tHow can we work together as a community to create a safe environment for each other?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n\t\tDo our existing structures and procedures enhance or impede the feeling of safety?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n\t\tAre there models across other institutions that we need to explore and maybe adopt at UW Bothell?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n\t\tDo we need to change the organizational structure of our Campus Safety and Security Department as we continue to grow and expand our boundaries?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n\t\tAre there investments into collective safety that we should be making?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\tThe task force decided to form sub-groups for a more focused approach to each question.
