Understanding and Preparing to Pay for Related University Fees

As an interested or newly admitted applicant , we encourage you to explore the cost of attendance and related university and program fees. In addition to Federal Financial Aid, the University provides a Tuition Payment Plan and many Scholarships.

Admitted Student Related University Fees and Deposits:

  • New applicants pay a $100.00 admission confirmation deposit upon acceptance. This deposit is applied to the first quarter of tuition. By paying the deposit, you are accepting the offer of admission to the RN to BSN program thus securing your seat. If payment is not received by the deadline on the acceptance letter, the School of Nursing and Health Studies may rescind your offer of admissions to offer it to  another qualified applicant. Don't delay!
  • Health and Safety Requirements and Background Check Fee. Admitted applicants complete a background check which has a fee of $54.00 and a Health and Safety Requirements fee of $50.00 for a total of $104.00.
  • New Student Enrollment and Orientation Fee: New students are required to attend a UW Bothell orientation; the cost is $300. This will be billed as part of your first quarter tuition bill. For information or questions contact the Orientation and Transition Office.
