Especially important to this growth is the establishment of academic centers, each with its own role and mission, but consistent with the larger mission of the campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Center for Biotechnology Innovation and Training<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Center for Biotechnology Innovation and Training (CBIT) focuses on increasing the number of biotechnology-trained STEM graduates to meet the needs of the growing industry in Bothell and the greater Puget Sound region. The CoSEE team co-designs interdisciplinary, equity-centered, place-based research and learning opportunities with and for local community partners, including community-based organizations, schools and school districts, agencies, and researchers.
