{"id":727,"date":"2009-09-14T22:10:28","date_gmt":"2009-09-14T22:10:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/?p=727"},"modified":"2026-01-14T20:45:43","modified_gmt":"2026-01-14T20:45:43","slug":"deans-list","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/registrar\/deans-list","title":{"rendered":"Dean&#8217;s List"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quarterly Dean&#8217;s List<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/registrar\/quarterly-deans-list\"><strong>Quarterly Dean&#8217;s List<\/strong><\/a> includes the names of matriculated undergraduate students who are pursuing their first undergraduate degree and have attained a quarterly GPA of 3.50 in the final grades for at least 12 graded credits. Appropriate entries regarding inclusion on the Dean&#8217;s List are made on the student&#8217;s permanent academic record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Annual Dean&#8217;s List<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/registrar\/annual-deans-list\">Annual Dean&#8217;s List<\/a><\/strong> high-scholarship award is recorded on the academic transcript of matriculated undergraduate students who are pursuing their first undergraduate degree and have achieved a quarterly GPA of 3.50 in 12 or more numerically graded credits each quarter for three quarters of the academic year (summer through spring).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students enrolled for four quarters of the academic year (summer through spring) must satisfy the conditions outlined above and attain a quarterly GPA of 3.50 or better in the fourth quarter, if enrolled for 10 or more credits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dean\u2019s List Name<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Student\u2019s\u00a0<strong>Quarterly or Annual Dean\u2019s List Name<\/strong>\u00a0does not have to match their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/registrar.washington.edu\/personal-data\/names\/#rec_name\">Student Record Name<\/a>. Students can now have their name of choice on the Dean&#8217;s List Recipients webpage by submitting a Dean\u2019s List name request via the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/registrar.washington.edu\/grades\/deans-lists\/name\/\">Dean\u2019s List Name form<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dean\u2019s List Name requests must be submitted prior to the publication of Dean\u2019s List Recipients.
