About This Course: <\/h3>\n\n

It was a Greek Philosopher, Heraclitus, who argued that everything is in omnia flux. This statement is as true today for leaders as it was centuries ago. Our world is becoming more complex to manage and so is our organizations. Human ingenuity and innovations help us not only in solving complex challenges but also in improving our organizational performance and making our world a better place. <\/p>\n\n

Leadership and technology have not been found wanting in this regard as new challenges necessitate new technologies. In “Emerging Technology for Leaders,” we learn the concept of new technologies such as IT, XR (VR, AR, MR, AI) and how leaders can apply these technologies in their profession to enhance learning, engagement, and make informed decisions.<\/p>\n\n

Who Should Take This Course?<\/h3>\n\n

This course is intended for students who may not have experience with coding or programming. It is mainly for people who want to know more about the role of emerging technologies in sustaining organizational performance and experience how leaders leverage these technologies in making informed decisions. The course will introduce students to an IT and XR leader, education, and business in VR, XR SWOT analysis and MR immersion experience that can change the trajectory of global competition landscape. While covering the importance of ethics, teamwork, communication, inclusive diversity, marketing, economics, and change, in addition, it will explore the gamut of leadership issues such as whether seeking, searching, and sharing information irrespective of differences in date, time, space, and geographic locale increase organizational efficiency and bottom-line.<\/p>\n\n

Why Should I Take This Course? <\/h3>\n\n

Because an unforeseen cause of event, such as COVID-19, has the capacity to disrupt many of our traditional leadership models, many leaders are repositioning their strategies in response to such new challenges facing organizations. This course prepares students to take advantage of the emerging technologies in IT and XR to prepare better in leading organizations and institutions in the 21st<\/sup> century. <\/p>\n\n
