There are multiple pathways to become a nurse in Washington State. Below are some resources to help you plan a career in nursing. Please consult with the pre-health advisor regarding the best pathway for you.
UW Bothell's First Year Entry RN to BSN (for freshman students)
UW Bothell’s RN-BSN degree program (for transfer students)
UW Seattle BSN
Note about UW Bothell’s BSN program –Please know that UW Bothell’s BSN degree is non-traditional in that it requires students to first obtain RN licensure through a community college RN program. It is possible that if you start at UW Bothell as a pre-major student, you may have to transfer to a community college to finish up your pre-nursing coursework. For information about community college RN programs you can find out more here: www.uwb.edu/nhs/futurestudents.
