Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Washington Bothell! We are excited to welcome you as the newest members of the UW Bothell community. After completing the Advising & Orientation process, we hope you will feel connected to the campus, know the resources and opportunities available to you, and be ready to register for classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before registering for an Advising & Orientation (A&O) session, you’ll need to complete two<\/strong> required online courses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n After completing both courses, you will receive a registration link for your Advising & Orientation session in your UW email within five business days. Forwarding your UW email to a personal address may prevent you from receiving this message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Your A&O experience includes both in-person and online components. You\u2019ll build on what you learned in UWB101, explore campus resources, meet fellow new Huskies, and connect with your academic advisor. Sessions begin in June and run throughout the summer. The first day will take place in-person on the UWB campus, and the second day will take place online via a Zoom meeting. Participation on both days is mandatory<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2026, first-year students attending A&O during select sessions in June and July have the option to participate in an overnight stay in Summit Hall. This experience introduces students to life at the university. The total cost of the experience is $75 which includes 5 meals, 2 nights, and curated Residential Life programs exclusively for overnight orientation students. Review these registration resources<\/a> to get started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Welcome Week<\/a> will take place during the first week of Autumn quarter. There will be many programs and activities to help you enhance your Husky experience and further your connections on campus! <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n All first-year students will be assigned a Peer Coach as part of the\u00a0First-Year Coaching Program<\/a>.\u00a0 You will meet your Peer Coach at Advising & Orientation.\u00a0Starting in September, your Peer Coach will contact you and support you throughout fall quarter as your mentor and guide to UW Bothell.
