Parents and Family Engagement
The University of Washington Bothell believes that students’ positive transition to our institution is a partnership between the student, the university, and the students’ support system.
That is why Orientation & Transition Programs offer Parent & Family Orientation programs. This uniquely designed program provides parent and family members with resources they can use to support their student's transition to their first quarter at the university. You will learn about the many resources and services as well as the logistics of financial aid and paying tuition. In addition, you will get tips on how they can support their student while they face the rigors of a university education. We have several opportunities for you to connect with resources and information about UWB Bothell.

Your student has to be the one to register you for Parent & Family Orientation. They can do this when they register for their Advising & Orientation (A&O) session. If they have already registered, they are able to go back to the same registration system and add your reservation on the Date Selection page. Please remind them to reselect their A&O date so they don’t lose their reservation.
You can also call our office to get assistance with registering.
Husky+
You are also welcome to join in on any of our Husky+ sessions. Husky+ is a program series designed for your students to connect with campus offices, staff and other UW Bothell students. They can even win some pretty great prizes just for attending (sorry the prizes are just for students).
Social Media
To be a part of an larger community, we recommend that you join the Parent and Family Facebook page to stay connected and hear about future programs for parents and family members.
