My name is Celena Romero and I am from a small town called Wapato, which is located in Central Washington. Growing up in a small community was amazing because I made so many great long lasting friendships. Moving to a large city has definitely been a great experience.
I am now a senior majoring in Health Studies. My goals is to attend medical school and become a pediatrician. I love people but babies amaze me the most with their little cute faces. On campus, I am involved in Community Based Learning and Research (CBLR) and I am also part of the Pre-Health Society and Pre-Med club here on campus. UWB has many clubs and organizations that are welcomed to everyone. Let me know if you are interested in joining clubs, which would be one way to meet so many great people here on campus.
Attending UWB has been the best decision I have ever made. The diversity this campus has is amazing. I enjoy the small classes and most importantly I love that professors get to learn your name. I feel honored to be part of the 2017-2018 Orientation Leadership group here at UWB. My goal is to help your tradition go smooth and most importantly be fun! Can’t wait to get to meet all of you.
