Paloma Jimenez

Paloma JimenezHi Future Huskies!

My name is Paloma Jimenez and I am here to help welcome you to UW Bothell! I am a second year who plans to major in Community Psychology and Business Administration. I am still torn on deciding my future career, hence the double majoring. My passion is in psychology and I would love to become a psychiatrist one day but it would be a long process.

I am from a small town called South Bend Washington! My graduating class was about 30 students. After living in the dorms my first year I am now living in the Bothell area to stay close to school. Around campus I am involved in the Latinx Union, Sustainability Club, and Women in Business. I am always attending campus events because they are so fun and a great way to make new connections.

I choose to go to UW Bothell because of how welcomed I felt when I first came to visit. It felt like a community to me. I did not want to be in a classroom of 500 students desperately wanting to grab my professor’s attention. I am also one that loves to build close relationships and this campus has allowed me to do that.

I am beyond excited to be your guide for this transition into college life!
