My name is Joshua Day and I am one of the PAC coaches this year. I am a sophomore intending to major in Computer Science and Software Engineering and minor in Electrical Engineering. After I graduate my goal would be to get a job in Cyber Security or work privately as an ethical hacker.
I was born in Costa Rica and was raised in both Costa Rica and in the United States of America. I live on campus in Husky Village and I am part of the Billiards Club and Food and Fitness Club. So if you want to play some pool, chess, or cards then head over to UW2 and you may find me there. Or if you want to know how to cook healthy meals and have fitness partners to go to the gym with then join Food and Fitness.
One of the reasons I chose the University of Washington is because it is considered one of the top 10 ten schools for computer science. And what is really nice about this Bothell campus is the overall campus and class size. All of my classes have had less than 30 students and this has allowed me to easily make friends, form study groups, and get to know the professor well. There are many other things I like about this campus including the variety of resources and clubs, its diversity, and the general small town feeling.
If you have any questions feel free to ask me anytime and anywhere. I look forward to seeing you around campus and sharing the college experience and journey with you.
