\n\tSNHS Alum, Justin Gill, plans to graduate from Yale with his Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2019. Justin completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at UWB in 2013. Gill said the classes he took while participating in our program reinforced his critical thinking and professional development, he was encouraged to consider broader concepts in health care and nursing. According to the Yale School of Nursing website, "The DNP Program is an aggregates\/systems and healthcare organizations specialty-focused program. Combining the Yale residential experience with on-line coursework, the Yale DNP is tailored for nurses who already have major professional experience and work commitments. Through collaboration with our faculty, health care leaders, and policy advocates, our DNP graduates will create new nursing roles to contribute to better health for all people." Gill says his coursework prepared him "to provide a better level of care for my patients by treating them one-on-one, and by advocating for them through institutional and legislative policy change.” For more information, please visit Where Are They Now?
