\n\tLast October, Governor Jay Inslee appointed Maureen West<\/a> to Western <\/a>Washington University’s Board of Trustees<\/a>. Maureen, a long-time Bellingham resident and current part-time NHS faculty member is expected to “foster and protect the integrity of the University’s academic mission and values” while serving a six-year term.<\/p>

\n\tAccording to a press release, WWU President Bruce Shepard said that “Maureen West brings a wealth of knowledge about the healthcare field and expertise in higher education to Western’s Board of Trustees.”<\/p>\n
