Please note that the locations differ by entry term.    <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Include your Nursing goal statement, resume, and an email address for your recommender as part of your application (see additional information below).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit your official transcripts as part of your application. Electronic submission is recommended. You can find more information about sending your official transcripts to UW Bothell by visiting the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/admissions\/apply\/faq#transcripts\">UW Bothell Admission webpage<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Required application materials<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Everett and Shoreline Nursing students and graduates please refer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/nhs\/undergraduate\/rn-bsn\/admissions\/nurse-scholars\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nurse Scholars webpage<\/a> for information on the required materials.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nursing goal statement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Your statement should demonstrate your ability to communicate effectively in writing and should be well-composed and developed. In 400-650 words, highlight your educational and professional goals by answering the following prompts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What inspires your interest in completing your BSN with the UW Bothell program?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Describe your long-term professional and academic plans and aspirations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How do you believe a Bachelor of Science in Nursing will aid you in meeting your goals and\/or enhancing your nursing practice?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nursing resume<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In no more than two pages, include the following<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Educational History: State in reverse chronological order, including starting and ending years, and anticipated date of graduation from nursing school (if still a student). Include clinical rotations in the educational history (not work history), and any licenses, certifications, or other nursing credentials you may have.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work History:  List in reverse chronological order, with all starting and ending months and years.  Be sure to briefly account for all employment gaps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Volunteering History: Include if applicable to nursing, leadership, or human services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">One (1) recommendation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Provide an academic or professional recommendation. The name, email address, and type of recommender are submitted as part of the online application. The Office of Admissions will send the recommender a link to fill out the form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Academic Recommendation:  <br> If you graduated from a nursing program within five years of the time of application, submit an academic recommendation from your nursing program. Examples of possible recommenders include a nursing instructor, a nursing clinical instructor\/supervisor, or the current nursing program director. A nursing instructor who knows your academic work is preferred over a nursing program director when possible. If it has been more than five years since you graduated from your nursing program, a professional or non-nursing academic recommendation is acceptable.<br>  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional Recommendation:  <br> A nursing or healthcare-related supervisor recommendation is preferred. If you are currently employed, the recommendation must be from your current supervisor, whether they are in nursing, other healthcare fields, or another profession.
