An Associate in Nursing Direct Transfer Agreement DTA\/MRP meets all A&amp;H requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>90 transferable quarter credits from a regionally accredited college or university<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Associate Degree in Nursing, Associate in Nursing DTA\/MRP or a Diploma in Nursing from a hospital-based nursing school\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants enrolled in the final year of a their nursing program, may apply with degree in progress.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Active, unencumbered or a pending RN license valid in the state of Washington.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Completion of the NCLEX may be pending. Applicants admitted with the NCLEX pending, have up to the second quarter in the  program to obtain their RN license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>English language proficiency if applicable.<br>Applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/admissions\/apply\/english-language-proficiency\">English proficiency<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Supplemental Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A background check and criminal disclosure form are required upon admission to the program. Complete requirements online using <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.castlebranch.com\/UH80\">CastleBranch<\/a>. Fees apply. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants admitted to fall quarter complete this requirement in September.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants admitted to Winter quarter complete this requirement in December.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Agree to adhere to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/nhs\/student-resources\/nursing-essentials\">Nursing Essentials<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Materials<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Nursing Goal Statement: <\/strong>In 400-650 words, highlight your educational and professional goals by answering the following prompts. Your statement should demonstrate your ability to communicate effectively in writing and should be well-composed and developed. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What inspires your interest in completing your BSN with the UW Bothell program?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Describe your long-term professional and academic plans and aspirations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How do you believe a Bachelor of Science in Nursing will aid you in meeting your goals and\/or enhancing your nursing practice?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Resume<\/strong>: In no more than two pages, include the following:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Educational history: State in reverse chronological order, including starting and ending years, and anticipated date of graduation from nursing school (if still a student). Include clinical rotations in the educational history (not work history), and any licenses, certifications, or other nursing credentials you may have.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work history: List in reverse chronological order, with all starting and ending months and years. Be sure to briefly account for all employment gaps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Volunteering history: Include if applicable to nursing, leadership, or human services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Academic or Professional Recommendation<\/strong>: If it has been more than five years since you graduated from your nursing program, a professional recommendation is recommended.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Academic recommendation: Required if you graduated from a nursing program within five years of the time of application. Examples of possible recommenders include a nursing instructor, a nursing clinical instructor\/supervisor, or the current nursing program director. A nursing instructor who knows your academic work is preferred over a nursing program director when possible. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional recommendation: A nursing or healthcare-related supervisor recommendation is preferred. If you are currently employed, the recommendation must be from your current supervisor, whether they are in nursing, other healthcare fields, or another profession.
