I received my DNP in Health Systems Leadership from Seattle University and my Master’s Degree in Nursing Education and Leadership from University of Washington – Bothell. My nursing path has included fun adventures including serving as a pediatric nurse at Seattle Children’s Hospital, a research nurse at Harborview Medical Center and UW Medical Center, an Associate Director at UW Continuing Nursing Education, and as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Seattle University.


My scholarship focuses on the importance of nurse faculty mentorship in academia. My most recent project focused on assessing and enhancing knowledge of mentorship best practices in nursing faculty. Other areas of interest are nursing incivility, nursing education strategies, and online learning best practices.
