Convocation formally launched the 2018-19 University of Washington Bothell academic year and welcomed approximately 840 new first-year students and 900 transfer students to campus. This was the 13th year for the UW Bothell Convocation, a highlight of Welcome Week.
The 12th annual University of Washington Bothell Convocation was the largest yet with nearly 500 new students and family members gathering in the Activities and Recreation Center to commence the 2017-2018 academic year.
The incoming class of 2020, new transfer students and their families were welcomed to the University of Washington Bothell at convocation. The ceremony Sunday was the 11th year of the tradition that officially kicks off the new academic year and the 10th year for first year students.
The University of Washington Bothell holds its 11th annual convocation Sunday, Sept. 25, at Mobius Hall to welcome the class of 2020. Convocation marks the beginning of a university career that will be crowned at commencement.
