With the Convocation ceremony going virtual this year, the entire UW Bothell community can log on and share in the tradition that launches the Class of 2024.
New University of Washington Bothell undergraduate students, many accompanied by proud family members, kicked off the 2019-20 academic year at Convocation on Sept. 22 in the Activities & Recreation Center.
Welcome Week greets about 1,600 first-year and transfer students to UW Bothell with daily fun events and stimulating activities to help them transition toward a successful academic year.
Convocation formally launched the 2018-19 University of Washington Bothell academic year and welcomed approximately 840 new first-year students and 900 transfer students to campus. This was the 13th year for the UW Bothell Convocation, a highlight of Welcome Week.
The 12th annual University of Washington Bothell Convocation was the largest yet with nearly 500 new students and family members gathering in the Activities and Recreation Center to commence the 2017-2018 academic year.
