Radio hardly describes all the media, programming and community building that takes place through UWave Radio, the campus station operated by students.
Sam Al-Khoury, who helps shape the college experience for University of Washington Bothell students as director of the Office of Student Engagement & Activities, has been recognized for extraordinary service with a 2019 UW Distinguished Staff Award.
Figures in the Ancestors sculpture appear to be watching over University of Washington Bothell and Cascadia College students as they pass a wooded hillside on campus. Some students occasionally leave offerings, perhaps in the hope of a little luck on a big exam.
This fall, UW Bothell has a total student body of 5,989. There are 5,411 undergraduates and 578 graduate or professional students. The average class size is 30 for undergraduates and 17 for graduate students.
Tim Wilson has been chosen as the new dean of student affairs at the University of Washington Bothell. Among his qualifications, the search committee noted his deep experience in creating and supporting inclusive campus communities.
