Ron Tilden, senior lecturer emeritus in the School of Business, has been named the 2022 Business Information Professional of the Year in the education category by Beta Alpha Psi, the international honor organization for financial information students and professionals. 

President’s Medal recipient Youssef Beltagy excelled in the most challenging computer engineering and math classes, but it was his passion for discovery and innovation that made him stand out. 

Sam Shupe received one of the UW’s 2022 Together We Will Award, recognizing him for going above and beyond to support the UW Bothell community during the pandemic. 

Despite the pandemic, STEM student Kira Lemke started a campus chapter in national organization, served as a peer coach, got a Mary Gates scholarship and was named one of the 2022 Husky 100 — to name just a few accomplishments. 

Isabeau Rosen is a recipient of one of the 2022 Chancellor’s Student Civic Leadership Awards. The awards recognize students who are addressing critical issues on their campuses and in their communities through service and social entrepreneurship.
