Two University of Washington Bothell students — Paris Bruner and Ada de la Cruz — have been recognized for their civic engagement with awards from Washington Campus Compact, a coalition of 44 two- and four-year colleges.
Midia De Souza, Yasmin Guzman and Shugla Kakar are each recipients of the chancellor’s medal, which the chancellor presents to students whose commitment to learning and overcoming obstacles is a source of inspiration.

Chair of the Seattle Arts Commission, Priya Frank, who received a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies degree in 2011, has been recognized with a 2020 University of Washington Bothell Alumna of the Year Award.
Ursula Valdez, a lecturer in the School of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences, received a 2020 Husky Green Award in recognition of how she incorporates conservation and sustainability into her classes and activities.
