\n\tCarrie Tzou, assistant professor in the School of Education Studies, is part of a team that has been awarded a $2.4 million grant from the National Science Foundation to enhance engineering education. \n\tGrowing up in the Appalachian Mountains, Heather Felix never thought she could achieve her dream of a graduate degree in occupational therapy with the goal of working with vulnerable populations. Thanks to a scholarship from the UW Bothell Alumni Student Support Endowed Fund, Heather is on her way to achieving that dream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\tUW Bothell launches its first fully online course this week with a year-long certificate in special education. While hybrid courses (classroom and online instruction) have been offered for some time, this is the university\u2019s first course to be offered exclusively online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
