BOTHELL, Wash. – The University of Washington Bothell now offers a Bachelor of Arts in Business degree at the Eastside Leadership Center (ELC) in Bellevue (located off the 148th NE Exit of SR 520, near Microsoft).
The BA in Business offers students a University of Washington degree at a central Bellevue location, with convenient courses offered Monday and Wednesday evenings. The coursework is designed to help students build skills in leadership, management, teamwork and effective oral and written communication.
For those already employed, this is a great opportunity to strengthen and refine critical skills and knowledge of principles and techniques of sound business practice. For those who are seeking employment in a new business sector, this program will offer the foundational knowledge for careers in the rapidly changing regional, national, and international arenas.
The program utilizes a peer cohort model with small class sizes resulting in enhanced professional relationships and connections and increased interactions between students and faculty.
Three unique concentrations are offered:
• Entrepreneurship: This concentration provides students with an understanding of the development of growth-oriented, new venture start-ups, whether external or internal to the organization.
• Finance: This concentration offers advanced knowledge and skills in the critical areas of corporate finance, investment management, and management of financial institutions.
• International Business: This concentration focuses on the major challenges and issues facing businesses and managers operating in an increasingly globalized environment.
Applications are still being accepted on a space available basis. To apply, visit the UW Bothell Admissions website: http://www.uwb.edu/babusiness/applyba.
