Financial support that can help increase equity, inclusion and a sense of belonging at the University of Washington Bothell are at the heart of this year’s Husky Giving Day on April 7. During the 24-hour giving campaign, donors to the UW can choose from a range of ways to support people, programs and projects all across the University. 

Alumna Brittaney Bunjong has used her Media & Communication Studies degree to create a varied career that includes podcasting, event planning, artist management and food blogging. Through it all is her life’s work: creating community. 

An annual student-led program offers free tax-return help to members of the community. The assistance is made possible by a partnership between the campus Beta Alpha Psi – Mu Psi Chapter, UW Bothell’s Health & Wellness Resource Center and United Way of King County. 

Dr. Julie Shayne, teaching professor in the School of IAS, debuts a class — and passion project — on the power of feminist writing. 

For the second year in a row, UW Bothell’s Master of Nursing program is ranked No. 1 among public schools that offer a master’s degree and moved up to No. 5 overall.
