Students who live on the south side of Seattle can access tutoring help for their writing and calculating assignments closer to home at the new Othello Commons.

In more recognition of UW Bothell’s return on investment, LendEDU, a student loan refinancing service, ranks the University No. 49 out of 798 four-year colleges and universities in its College Risk-Reward Indicator study. 

Jesse Zaneveld, an assistant professor in the School of STEM’s Division of Biological Sciences, has received a National Science Foundation CAREER award worth more than $940,000 over five years to support his research in coral reef microbiology.
