Nearly 2,100 students graduated and more than 900 took part in the University of Washington Bothell’s virtual Commencement. All will be welcomed at an in-person ceremony in the future, when everyone is allowed back together after the coronavirus pandemic.
BOTHELL, Washington — The University of Washington Bothell has named Cinnamon Hillyard, currently associate vice chancellor for undergraduate learning, to fill the new position of associate vice chancellor for student success.
Neither snow nor pandemic could halt University of Washington Bothell supporters from donating to the I Heart UW Bothell Scholarship Luncheon. In its three years the event raised $750,000 to help students continue their education.
The coronavirus prevented an in-person celebration but did not diminish the appreciation UW Bothell has for community partners who support student learning through projects, research and mutually beneficial collaborations.
