A series of events are planned through January and February where students can engage in activities and reflect on Martin Luther King Junior’s vision of equality for all through non-violent direct action to strengthen communities.
Eric Chen (Computing & Software Systems ’05) works as a software engineer lead at Microsoft and contributes to the UW Bothell scholarship fund because he knows financial aid helps students focus on their education.
In response to student requests, UW Bothell now offers a degree map for each major, charting a quarter-by-quarter path of suggested courses through college.
Mateó Ochoa, a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies graduate at UW Bothell, is traveling the world with a Bonderman Fellowship, which offers the opportunity for independent exploration.
The Global Scholars program helps find financial assistance to study abroad for students who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity. A dozen students in the first cohort in 2019 traveled to a half-dozen countries.
