A Mary Gates scholarship supports Jessica Kunder’s research project with Associate Professor Warren Gold. She has evaluated every single tree on the upper campus for its environmental value.

Two University of Washington Bothell students have received the 2018 Presidents’ Civic Leadership Award from the Washington Campus Compact, a coalition of higher education institutions in the state. Salvador Salazar-Cano received the undergraduate award and Ayva Thomas the award for a graduate student.

The University of Washington Bothell has joined the Seattle campus as a member of the Coalition for Access, Affordability and Success. This will allow first-year students for fall 2019 to use the same application in applying to these two University of Washington campuses.
