The Digital Learning team and Natalia Dyba, director of global initiatives, were named recipients of two Division of Academic Affairs staff awards. 

Three UW Bothell undergraduates were awarded fellowships — usually bestowed just to graduate and post-doctoral students — to research heart development, kidney disease and osteoporosis.

Students in the class Issues in Media Studies: Human Rights Public Culture do more than just study human rights violations; they engage in a substantive project that leads to a local intervention.

IAS Alum Abigail Echo-Hawk is on a mission to bring awareness to the plight of Indigenous women and girls who go missing and are murdered. “We need the same efforts happening for everybody regardless of race or ethnicity,” she told King 5 news.

A new endowed scholarship honors the life of Jessica Hammond, a graduate of the School of Nursing & Health Studies, who died in 2015. Her mother, Mary Hammond and stepfather Conrad Brown hope the scholarship will help future nurses. Read the story in UW Bothell’s Annual Impact Report.
