Julie CarrGuest artist Julie Carr is the author of six books of poetry, most recently 100 Notes on Violence (2010), RAG (2014), and Think Tank (forthcoming, 2015).  She is also the author of Surface Tension: Ruptural Time and the Poetics of Desire in Late Victorian Poetry (2013), and the co-editor of Active Romanticism: The Radical Impulse in Nineteenth-Century and Contemporary Poetic Practice (forthcoming, 2015). She has been the recipient of numerous awards and Honors, including The National Poetry Series and a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts.  Julie Carr is serving as the Associate Chair for the Creative Writing Program at University of Colorado Boulder, where she is Associate Professor of English.
