Digital Future Lab

The Digital Future Lab

The Digital Future Lab (DFL), formerly known as The Center for Serious Play (CSP), was launched in December 2009. It has offered weekly workshops led by industry leaders. The Digital Future Lab has had immediate success in offering workshops and activities for students and community members.

The DFL enhances and encourages students to work together solving today's problems along with finding ways to create and innovate new ideas and ways of thinking. The DFL fosters students to understand the design research and innovation in the development of new products, services and processes in support of the IMD degree.

As UWB develops other centers, the IMD degree program will work them where appropriate. Centers related to entrepreneurship, the arts, education/learning, performance/theater, sciences, computing/data visualization and others will be prime candidates for collaborative work.
